Please remember to ALWAYS wear a mask while on the property. Our residents are often out walking around the property, so please maintain your distance (6ft/2m) and wear your mask.
Although we are unable to go out for our annual Knights of Columbus BBQ, we will still be having some fun in the home with a BBQ and Root Beer Floats! We are also enjoying having many of our favourite musicians back to play for us out on the patio during this beautiful summer weather!
At this time the annual increase for accommodation charges that usually happens on July 1st has been deferred to January 1, 2021. The ministry will provide further advice in
November 2020.This does not affect rate reductions that currently is effective July 1st.
Our home is still planning to participate in the Terry Fox Run in September. If you would like to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation or sponsor one of our residents, please contact Brittany for more information.
VISITING:
During the week of August 17th ONLY, please call Cathie or Leighara in Activities to book your family visits.
Visitation appointments book up quickly. If you are able to, booking the week prior is advised.
Visiting appointments occur every day of the week at various time slots. They are scheduled around meals and programming to ensure all of the residents in the home still get the opportunity to participate. We are doing our best to accommodate as many families as possible – we know how much this means to everyone! It has been great to see you all again.
