Public Health has confirmed that our total number of active cases at Fairfield Park is currently 66. This includes 33 active residents and 33 active staff.

We are continuing with our weekly surveillance testing of residents and staff today and we continue to have daily meetings with our community partners to discuss the status of our home. We are pleased to be able to collaborate closely with these partners including CK Public Health, CK Health Alliance, the Ministry of Long-Term Care, our LHIN, Ontario Health and our local EMS.

We are also pleased to share that the Red Cross was in the home this weekend and they are impressed with the infection prevention and control measures currently in place. They will do a final assessment today and then a team of 10 Red Cross staff will be joining our team on Thursday, February 11, to support our care team further. We are incredibly grateful for their help during this time and we want to assure our community that we are doing everything we can to ensure the continued health and safety of everyone at Fairfield Park.
