November 2017 News

It’s been a lovely fall and soon we will be heading into the Christmas Season.
Thank you to all the family and friends who attended the “Harvest Luncheon”. We had a great crowd and all money raised from this event will go to our Volunteer Auxiliary.

We will be hosting the Wallaceburg Ministerial Meeting on Nov.15th and providing a lunch as our way of thanking the clergy for their time and counsel during the year.

Mark your calendars for the Family Christmas Party on Thursday night, Dec.7th at 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Please share this invitation with your family members. There will be appetizers, desserts and festive entertainment for everyone.
RSVP to sherry@fairfieldpark.ca or Call 519-627-1663, we are limiting guests to 8 for each Resident.

We, as always, will be remembering our Veterans on
November 11th.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow                                                     WE ARE PROUD OF OUR VETERANS
Between the crosses, row on row,                                                                        Palmer Arnold
That mark our place; and in the sky                                                                     Whitey Haskell
The larks, still bravely singing, fly                                                                         Charles Craig
Scarce heard amid the guns below.                                                                     Glen Farnsworth

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.  — John McCrae

Once again, families are always welcome to join us for all resident activities. See the calendar for dates and times.

We now are able to provide a cheaper phone service to our residents.  Canquest will be the provider of this service.  The monthly cost including tax is $18.05, and a one time set up fee of $49.95.  You will keep the same phone number and will have free voice mail, call display and unlimited long distance in Canada and US.  If you are interested in this service or have any questions please see Joanne Vink or you can call Canquest at 519-351-1565 and ask for Todd Violot.
