“January 2019 News”
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with their loved ones and we wish everyone all the best in 2019!
We had a lovely Family Christmas Party on December 6th, as well as a Christmas Candle Light Evening Vigil, held on December 20th. Both included special entertainment and lots of Christmas treats.
Through various fundraisers, our Volunteers were able to purchase a Christmas gift for each resident in our home. Thus, to finish off the Christmas festivities, Santa was here bright and early Christmas morning to give out gifts to all.
The Alzheimer Society will be at Fairfield Park on January 23rd to talk about Alzheimer’s and related dementias. We will learn about some of the warning signs and find out ways to communicate with someone living with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. In addition, the Alzheimer Society will share information about what can be done to minimize the risk of injury when someone is at risk of wandering away. Please join us on January 23rd, 2019 from 6-7pm in our Westside Activity Room (just inside the front doors).
DOOR CODES: Effective Wednesday, January 2nd, the code at the front/visitor entrance will be changed to reflect the New Year: 2019*
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!
